Hi everybody, I'm Kathy and I live in central New York State, near Utica. Last winter, I took the Ecosystem Mimicry and Practicum courses, so the Fundamentals course will finish the series for me. Then I expect to apply for my Permaculture Design Certificate (2020 permitting, LOL).

I've been an avid gardener for a long time, but when I found permaculture, I was smitten. I love the idea of designing everything - not just gardens, but infrastructure and practices - in a way that works with and supports nature, instead of destroying her. I just wish the message would spread a lot farther and faster than it has been.

Anyway, it's good to be back and I look forward to the course. Hope everyone has weathered the trials and tribulations of COVID well.
