This module covers audience identification, participation monitoring, the audience mapping process required as part of Equal Program Opportunity accountability, and broad approaches for audience expansion.

This course explores near-term implementation planning, that is, planning for educational activities over a specified period of time (typically six months or a year). It brings together concepts from program development and marketing and includes practical tools for thinking about intended outcomes, audiences, methods, marketing, and evaluation and accountability. Many of the techniques and tools included are old standbys brought together here in a consolidated, stepwise format for extension educators.

This module addresses broad program and organizational planning including our statewide plans of work, approaches to strategic planning, and developing a longer-term plan of work.  Recommended formats for local plans are included.
