This site provides resources for persons new to the CCE system or new to different roles within the system. It includes activities and content that prepares individuals forparticipation in theNew Staff Introduction experience on campus.Goal:

- This course explores near-term implementation planning, that is, planning for educational
activities over a specified period of time (typically six months or
a year). It brings together concepts from program development and marketing
and includes practical tools for thinking about intended outcomes, audiences,
methods, marketing, and evaluation and accountability. Many of the
techniques and tools included are old standbys brought together here
in a consolidated, stepwise format for extension educators. - This course includes content and resources similar to that provided in regional workshops by the same name conducted in 2001-2004 at various locations. It is meant as a basic introduction to program evaluation but also can server as a "refresher" for those already familiar with evaluation concepts.
It is structured as a sequence of learning modules. You can either course through it from "top to bottom" or jump around depending on your interests. If you work through the contents and complete the associated activities in all the modules, you will develop a working evaluation plan for a program of your choosing.
Resources presented here are drawn from many different sources and a few are original to the instructor. When original sources are known, material is cited for further information. Instructional and procedural resources for meeting annual reporting requirements that meet our accountability responsibilities to CSREES and SUNY and provide information for system marketing.
This course provides a variety of resources and strategies to
enhance competencies of extension educators in communicating impacts
